Local Magistrates, Tim Knight and Margaret Milne, visited Queen Elizabeth’s School on Tuesday the 17th October to talk to the Year 12 Law class.
Tim and Margaret spoke about their role as Magistrates and conducted an activity to show how sentencing decisions are made. Both these topics are on the new A-level Law syllabus and so as well as being fascinating, the talk was also extremely relevant to the students' course.
Tim and Margaret have visited QE a number of times now to help our students improve their understanding of the work of the Magistrates' court and we are really grateful to them for once again taking the time to share their expertise with us.
