Exeter is served by two main line railway stations, St Davids and Central. An hourly Intercity train service brings Exeter within two hours of London and there are direct rail services to other important cities. St Davids is the station most Boarders use, and it is linked with Bristol, Birmingham and the North of England, as well as London Paddington and Waterloo. Central takes a southern county route into London Waterloo also. This links to Channel Ferry services via Salisbury.
Crediton itself has a train station with hourly services to Exeter, or to Barnstaple in North Devon. The station is approximately 1.5 miles from Boarding.
