Year 11 Summer Ball

On Saturday 8th July Year 11 students from Queen Elizabeth's School, Crediton celebrated the end of their year at their Summer Ball, hosted by Exeter Golf & Country Club.

The event was well attended by students and staff and the entrances were spectacular from some.

From vintage cars and Massey Ferguson tractors to a rather unexpected arrival via a Police riot van, blue lights and all; all very stylish.

Students enjoyed gathering and sharing in the excitement of the arrivals of friends, complimenting each other on their choices of attire and catching up having completed exams back in June.

The evening celebrated individuals and the year group as a whole, marking for some the end to their QE journey (though a number are remaining at QE for Sixth Form), but for all marked success in navigating a challenging five years including the pandemic.

Dulcie Oliver, Head of Year 11 said, "It was wonderful to see all the students arrive and relish in the opportunity to get dressed up to mark the end of Year 11 in style."
