Our Trust of Schools

Safeguarding

OUR TOP PRIORITY

The safety and wellbeing of all our students is of paramount importance. Staff, students, parents/carers and governors can raise any issues or concerns about the safety or welfare of children and know that they will be listened to and taken seriously. This is achieved by maintaining an ethos which is all about promoting the welfare of our young people and ensuring that all staff are skilled and confident in all aspects of safeguarding.

Please note that we have a duty to refer any safeguarding issues to external agencies as appropriate, and that we always do.

MAKING A REPORT

Students and staff can report issues in a number of ways;

  • Pop into student reception and talk to our student reception leads
  • Report inequality or safeguarding concerns via our online forms
  • Speak to a member of staff with a blue lanyard (level 3 safeguarding trained)
  • Speak to any member of staff
  • Speak to a Year Team Leader

Any reports made will be dealt with discreetly and sensitively.

KEY STAFF

  • The Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead is Suzanne Lienert
  • The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Safeguarding Officer is Jesney Stone
  • The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Jack Fahy

It is the responsibility of all adults to ensure the safeguarding of children. If you are concerned for a child’s welfare, it is your responsibility to inform a member of staff immediately.

In some circumstances you may feel the need to report directly to the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). They can be emailed or telephoned.
